I will have three prints in the 'Aberystwyth Printmakers in the City' exhibition in the RBSA Gallery in Birmingham from the 18-30th October. It will be a great exhibition so if you're near Birmingham why not pop in.
What does Hiraeth mean to you? See how over 50 artists depict that complex emotion in the Life: Full Colour Open Exhibition: 'Hiraeth' from 6th November - 24th December 2021.
The prehistoric monuments of Wales - and their landscape settings - symbolise, for me, the blend of homesickness, nostalgia and longing that comprise hiraeth. Whilst living away from Wales for almost 40 years the image of Pentre Ifan in particular would always trigger such emotions. And to its creators? A longing to maintain the connection to their ancestors maybe, and a visual representation of their connection to the land.
Now that we are all able to get out and about why not visit my stall at one (or all!) of the following Artisan Events Wales craft and art markets.

- Bleddfa Centre - 4-5th December - Free parking and an ideal opportunity to get the present for that 'someone who has everything'.
