Red Kite II

Unique Monoprint

The Red Kite was rescued from near extinction in the UK largely through the setting up of a feeding station at Gigrin Farm in Rhayader, Powys to help the few remaining birds. They have a wingspan of up to 1.9m and this bird is one of a pair that fly regularly over our house.

This was printed using a jigsaw of styrene pieces on acid-free paper using linseed oil-based inks.
