Glo - Coal

This solo show features a body of work that came into being as a result of my participation in ‘Miners Imprint’ - a collaboration between Swansea Print Workshop & Swansea University to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the South Wales Miner’s Library.

The works are linocuts, lithographs & collagraphs depicting various aspects of coal mining in Wales. Unsurprisingly, the dominant colour is black and some of the inks used have been created by the artist from various Welsh coals.

Mini Print Wales

Mini Print Cymru | Wales is a Wales-wide collaborative initiative created to raise the profile of printmaking in Wales.

Working together, Regional Partners – Swansea Print Workshop, Aberystwyth Printmakers, the Regional Print Centre and the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art – are encouraging their members and the Wales-based wider printmaking and art community, to create high quality, small-scale affordable artwork.

Images have a maximum size of 10x10cm, a format which encourages printmakers to think differently.

Parallel Printmakers @ Benmore

An exhibition by a group of printmakers who met & worked online during the COVID lockdowns. This programme was started by Deb Wing and the exhibition will run alongside an exhibition of her work. 10:30-16:30 daily.

You can also see many of these printmakers working close by at Uig Hall during the second week.

Ar Lan y Môr

This exhibition springs from a collaboration between Aberystwyth Printmakers & IBERS. They are close neighbours and are keen to develop the interface between art and science. 

A number of key academics delivered inspirational and informative talks, walks and demonstrations as inspiration for the  artists
